Debut concert of a new band in Ördögkatlan!
Eszter Takáts is one of the greatest talents coming from Pécs on the acoustic, alternative scene with a refined jazzy, blues, country flavour. She has been writing songs for 12 years and matches to a line of music where a number of female singer-songwriter, e.g. Johnny Mitchell, Nico, Suzan Vega, Sheryl Crow, Katie Melua and even Björk have made their magical marks.
Peter Muller Siamese’s (poet, singer-songwriter) way are signed by URH, the Kontroll Csoport and the various configurations of Sziámi. He occurs in a duo with Béla Lakatos Szakcsi and Péter Kirschner. He’s writing lyrics in English and Hungarian for a number of memorable and young talents. He’s one of the Sziget Festival’s and the Miskolc International Opera Festival's founders.
And now they’ve met each other in …CATSANDOX. Working together for almost a year, they’ve founded a new band where they sing together their co-written songs and some of their favorite opuses.
Eszter Takáts band former, acustic sound has been replaced by a more powerful tone, the Cajun was replaced by a drum kit, and the accordion by a powerful electric guitar.
