Beethoven, Symphony No. 9

The message and will that Beethoven weaved into every single sound of this symphony, cannot be presented often enough and play loud enough to climb into all human ears and to let it keep resounding indelibly. Beethoven was already completely deaf when he experienced the overwhelming success of the play; the audience being aware of his complete incapability of perceiving sounds waved hats and white handkerchiefs signing their recognition, devotion and enthusiasm.
