In the music of Tamara Obrovac, a Croatian flautist and singer, Balkan rhytms mingle with Italian song forms and erotically-charged funky, Slovenian folk songs. The element getting all this eclectic diversity altogether is the charismatic, intellectual and passionate personality of Obrovac. The other performing group is the Muzsikás Band, playing authentic Hungarian folk music. The band following the manner of rendering and improvisations of the most excellent musicians of the village, became the most well-known band in it’s artistic field both in Hungary and transborders.
