Mozart: Requiem

We were wondering with Laci (László Bérczes, the founder of the Devil's Cauldron Festival) about choosing such an oratorical piece which corresponds to the mood of a starlit night, as well as to the chosen venue contentwise. We have considered The Creation from Haydn, too, which deals with the story of creation itself, so with what surrounds as in the outdoors. Yet the Reconciliation Chapel of Beremend evoked the Requiem from Mozart, because being next to the Croation border, where the Southern South war broke out twenty-two years ago, made us both felt that this piece's spirit and presence created by sounds was more relevant.
