La Tresca (I)
If you are not familiar with them yet: the Italian La Tresca was founded in 2000 by some good friends who shared the love of folk-rock and Irish music. Initially, they adapted well-known songs and themes, later they’ve found their own style and started to write their own songs. They were inspired by the legends of their homeland and wider environment. Committed to their name (tresca means making up tales) they’re telling stories about rural life’s habits and characteristics, and even about strange fellows like in the Alps in ice frozen found hunter, Ötzi.
