Miklós Sugár’s concert

“I was born in a musician family, on the second day of the second half of the second year of the second half of the last century. My grandfather was the St James church’s organist, my mother graduated as an opera singer at the Academy of Music, my father was a composer. Yet it wasn’t clear that I’m going to end up at this “area” and on which part of it I would settle. I believe I finally chose the two most complete parts of this area: composing includes the novelty of sounds and conducting the widest scale of sounds. In addition comes the organization of concerts, which enable others to experience this too. In my pieces, I’d like to speak a publicly accessible but modern language of music, thus I’m also using the latest techniques, e.g. electronic devices.”
