Gábor Podhorszky’s guitar concert
The between Budapest and London commuting guitarist, Gábor Podhorszky studied guitar and chamber music at the Liszt Academy of Music in Szeged, Hungary but was playing in punk bands, too. Gábor was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, which he graduated from in 2007. In this institution he also studied baroque guitar and historical performance. Currently, he is contributing to multiple contemporary and classical musical bands, he composes songs and gives concerts worldwide as a solo artist. He teaches master classes, presents new works and is in the jury of talent shows discovering new artists.
On his concerts, he’s going to perform Italian and Spanish music from the 17th century, Argentine tango, Brazilian choro, Southern Slav melodies, and his own compositions on guitar.
