Szélkiáltó Band songs for children

The Szélkiáltó (Windwhooping) Band was formed in 1974 from Hungarian-music major students on the Teachers Training College of Pécs; that is they have celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2014. They have been singing and playing music since 40 years to both children and adults. They set poems to music, write the music by themselves and perform the songs on acoustic instruments. Because of the classical musical instrument set-up (violin, cello, guitar, flute and rhythm musical instruments), the band is characterised by chamber musical sound but all kinds of other instruments are also used for setting poems with a grotesque intonation to music.
