There are bodies: a dancer’s body; the body of a double-bass and of course the bass-player's body; the present people’s (spectators’) body, the body of the landscape, that of the objects, that of the air…
They meet, something happens to them there and then.
Katalin Lőrinc was supposed to become a ballet artist but she “got away” right at the beginning (going abroad, changing majors, wandering in all respects); the double improvisation excites her since 2011: doing it in different spaces, together with different musicians. She came across Attila Lőrinszky, master of the double-bass during the autumn of 2012. When they play no one even knows how it starts: whether the motion is inspired by the space, the music by the motion, or the motion by the music… one thing is certain: the moment decides.
