Örkény fun-fair
Musical mixture based on Örkény’s one-minute stories.
The original works are already with a diverse intonation style, serious, playful. The songs performed on the fun-fair are diverse, too, the programme includes musical genres from a wide scale. By a few pieces the text is set to music, by others the lyrics are closely or remotely associated with the original text. We’ll hear blues, musical songs, baroque choral works, and American street music with slam poetry reminiscence, and see circus-burlesque mashups.

The game is preceded with mutual game, there will be some fair romping: creativity, situation recognition, association, competition and absurdity. The play master, Ányos Elek counts on every participant, spectator, accidentally attending festivalgoer.
